Welcome to the official website of CHOPITUPNOLA, operated by Chef Jeremiah Thompson. By accessing this website, placing an order, or booking services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this website or engage CHOPITUPNOLA’s services.

1. Services Offered

CHOPITUPNOLA provides the following services, subject to availability and scheduling:

  • Custom meal preparation

  • Catering services for private or public events

  • Personal chef services (minimum of 5 hours unless otherwise agreed)

  • Specialty products, including juices and sauces

All services are provided within designated Texas service areas unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Booking & Payment Terms

  • All services must be booked in advance.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Accepted payment method: Zelle to 682‑261‑6918.

  • Pricing is subject to change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will honor the agreed-upon rate.

  • Deposits may be required for catering or event services as outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Failure to submit required payment may result in cancellation of the booking.

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Accurately disclose any known dietary restrictions, allergies, or sensitivities.

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to kitchen facilities, utilities, and workspace when applicable.

  • Ensure timely access to the service location.

  • Be present or reasonably responsive during the agreed service window.

CHOPITUPNOLA takes reasonable precautions to accommodate dietary needs and allergies. However, due to the risk of cross-contamination and ingredient variability, CHOPITUPNOLA cannot guarantee that all dietary restrictions or allergen-free conditions will be fully met.

CHOPITUPNOLA reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe, unsanitary, or otherwise unsuitable for food preparation.

4. Food Safety & Assumption of Risk

While CHOPITUPNOLA follows applicable Texas food safety standards, clients acknowledge that food consumption carries inherent risks.

CHOPITUPNOLA is ServSafe certified, ensuring all meals are prepared according to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

CHOPITUPNOLA is not responsible for:

  • Reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or dietary restrictions

  • Improper storage, handling, or reheating of food after delivery

  • Cross-contamination risks inherent in shared kitchen environments not controlled by CHOPITUPNOLA

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, CHOPITUPNOLA’s liability for any claim arising from services or products shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service or order in question.

CHOPITUPNOLA is not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Delays caused by events outside reasonable control (weather, traffic, emergencies, supply shortages)

  • Equipment malfunctions or kitchen issues not under CHOPITUPNOLA’s control

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, including but not limited to menus, branding, logos, images, recipes, text, and marketing materials, is the intellectual property of CHOPITUPNOLA.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

All refunds and cancellations are governed by the official CHOPITUPNOLA Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or county courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.

9. Modifications to Terms

CHOPITUPNOLA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
